Kapoeta East, Eastern Equatoria – January 2025
In partnership with UN Women, WIHDO has introduced women-led farming cooperatives in Kapoeta East. The project aims to improve food security and economic resilience by supporting 150 women with seeds, tools, and agricultural training. The cooperative model encourages group savings and access to microloans. Community leaders praised the initiative for addressing both hunger and gender inequality.
